Put a man on a machine and HazProof checks his training record. Certification expired? A supervisor has to be the one to sign, and that override goes on the record with his name.
When something critical fails, the equipment is flagged out of service with the reason and a link back to the inspection that found it. Nobody has to remember to tell the next shift.
