HazProof is safety software for construction and field crews, and a product of Opynbox LLC. We build for the person standing at a tailgate, not the person watching a demo. The work spans general construction, civil, utilities, and specialty trades. Crane lift plans are one module, not the whole product.
Why we built it
Safety software generally comes in two kinds. There's the enterprise system that takes a year to implement and gets used by the office while the field keeps using paper. And there's the app that's really a form builder — you buy an empty container and then spend months writing your own hazard library before it does anything. Neither one helps a superintendent standing at a tailgate at six in the morning with a crew waiting.
How we build
The test for everything is whether it works on a phone, in the cold, with gloves on, with spotty signal, and whether it can stand in for the paper it is there to replace. That is why the hazard library lives on the phone, why the field app is big buttons, and why nothing we ship needs a manual. The office side can be as detailed as a safety director wants. The field side cannot be.
Security
Your records,and who can see them.
Your records stay with your company. A crew account sees the field. The people who run safety see the investigations and the settings. Send a security questionnaire and we will work through it with you. That review is part of the same conversation as the product, not a separate package.
Database-enforced company separation
Every record belongs to one organization, and that wall is enforced by the database. An account only ever returns its own company's rows.
Roles, from the field to the owner
A laborer and a safety director don't see the same things. Investigations and settings stay with the people who should have them.
Private incident cases
Incidents can be marked as privacy cases, so the OSHA 300 log shows "Privacy Case" instead of the person's name. Changes to records are logged.
Encryption
Encrypted in transit and at rest on major cloud infrastructure. Send your security questionnaire and we'll work through it with you.
